Ellsworth, City Of
Downtown Ellsworth
Our mission is simple: Bringing people together with good food and drink in a great atmosphere
by providing fast, friendly service that one can only find in a small town environment. Whether you are
alone or with a gathering of friends, family or business associates the Maine Grind is a great place to
settle in with a freshly brewed cup of Maine's Rock City coffee or a micro-brew from Atlantic Brewing of
Bar Harbor. Our sandwiches are made on freshly baked bread from Borealis Breads and our salads are
made fresh to order using quality products from Rockland’s Cafe Miranda. Our soups are hearty and
delicious. The pastries and desserts are all made locally from scratch using only quality ingredients. No
shortcuts. We support the loacl economy by making our food purchases from local farmers, bakers and
vendors. Bring your laptop, we're a wi-fi hotspot. And the daily New York Times is always on our
newstand next to the selection of magazines ranging from Maine Home and Design and the New Yorker
to Downeast Magazine or Vanity Fair. We're authentically Maine. You'll be glad that you found us.
We're on Main Street in the heart of Downtown Ellsworth. Plenty of parking

of downtown Ellsworth, a small coastal city located near Acadia National Park in Downeast Maine. Within
the cafe is The Harlow Gallery and gift shop that both offer a wonderful range of original Maine artwork
and gifts made in Maine, as well as books.
